Practical Use Cases

Submission cleanup

Remove accidental blank scans and put attachments in the required order.

Packet preparation

Arrange forms, evidence, and separator pages into one coherent packet.

Privacy and File Processing

Browser-local processing

Organize PDF keeps its PDF input in browser memory while the operation runs. The workflow creates PDF for local preview or download and does not send the entered values or selected file bytes to the GXA Toolbox application server.

Supported Inputs and Outputs

Input

  • PDF

Output

  • PDF

How It Works

The organizer maps each thumbnail action to its source page, then writes the retained pages, rotations, blank pages, and supported overlays into a new document.

Limitations and Important Notes

  • Removing pages is destructive in the exported copy, so retain the original.
  • Interactive previews use browser memory and may slow down with very large PDFs.
  • Existing digital signatures may be invalidated when page structure changes.

Worked Example

For a 20-page scan with pages 4 and 11 upside down, rotate those thumbnails, move the appendix to the end, and export the corrected copy.

Helpful Tips

  • Verify page numbers after reordering.
  • Use a descriptive output name so it is not confused with the source.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Select the relevant thumbnails before applying rotation.

Can I insert a blank page?

Will the source PDF be overwritten?
